P2720DC, Power Save Mode disconnect USB Type-C
Hi,
I am connecting my new P2720DC to Acer Aspire 5 laptop through HDMI port as it appears that USB Type-C in the laptop doesn't support video streaming option. However, I also connected USB Type-C cable as it allows to use USB ports on the monitor.
The issue is that when the P2720DC goes to "Power Save Mode", it disconnects USB Type-C cable and doesn't connect it automatically back after waking up the P2720DC. To fix the problem, I need to plug off and then plug in the USB Type-C cable and it could be really annoying to do that all the time.
Any advice on how this issue could be resolved?

I know that some displays have a configurable setting to determine whether the USB data path remains active even while the display is asleep, so you might have to configure that, but not reactivating when the display wakes back up does sound strange. However, if you find that setting to keep USB active even while the display is asleep, that might work around a potential bug about it not reactivating when the display wakes back up, since now the USB data path won't go inactive in the first place.

Thanks for your reply @jphughan however changing display settings didn't help. I have set up next options as ON "USB-C Charging - On During Power off" and "USB-A Charging - On During Standby" but it doesn't solve the issue with the "Power Save Mode".
