P4317Q Multi Client Monitor Display Settings
I have the P4317Q multi client monitor. I have two computers hooked up to it. I have my main windows 10 pro hooked up to a display port & i have a second windows 7 pc hooked up to vga. I usually have the windows 7 computer as a pip displayed in the bottom right hand corner. Occasionally this gets in the way so i disable the pip setting.The vga is listed at the top so when my main pc goes into hibernation mode the vga is displayed. How can i make that not happen? This only happens when i have the pip disabled

When PIP is disabled, the P4317Q autosenses that two video inputs are being received, DP and VGA. So if DP stops sending a signal (hibernation), the P4317Q will automatically display the still on VGA. To stop this, turn the VGA computer off BEFORE the DP computer enters hibernation. Or, you could set the P4317Q Input Source "Auto Select" to Off. But then you have to manually choose the source everytime.
