P4317Q, Windows 10 taskbar active apps not visible
Hello,
I have a new Dell P4317Q. In windows 10 I have the problem to recognize the opened applications in the taskbar. The problem is that the pixels near the monitor edge (I think 10 pixels) are extremely perspective dependent. That is why I can not recognize the small stripes in the taskbar, when I stand in the middle position of the screen. Is there a workaround for this problem? To activate under scan is no option for me, because windows become blurry.
Best regards
Oliver

We need more data before we can troubleshoot:
* To what computer PC is the monitor attached?
* What video card/GPU is in the PC?
* What video out ports are on the video card/GPU or PC onboard video out ports?
* List all monitor cabling attached to the PC and the ports they are using
* Press the monitor Menu button to open the monitor OSD (On Screen Display). The bottom of that screen should show a resolution. What is listed?

In both pictures, you have moved the windows taskbar to the left and nothing else is on the screen. All running apps and programs appear as icons on the taskbar. They are not supposed to all be shown on the Windows desktop.
Click or tap the Task View button. Or press Windows+Tab. The screen clears, and Windows displays miniature views of your open apps and programs.

Hello Chris,
thank you for your answer.
I know that windows features. But in some situations I have to use the feature of the taskbar overview to jump directly to an opened app, because I have a lot of opened instances of them and choose the right one.
In the Window + Tab view I see all opened instances unordered.
My problem is no windows 10 software problem.
My problem is a Dell P4317Q hardware problem, that the edges of the screen are extremely perspective dependent.
And only the 10-15 pixels in the edges have this problem.
Is there any driver, or display settings solution?
Best regards
Oliver

All of the P4317Q drivers are here. When magnified, the icons on the taskbar look fine to me. I cannot see this "10-15 pixels" issue. You have 30 days from the Dell invoice date to return the monitor.
