Power Consumption

In the Monitor Specifications it list Power Consumtion but doesn't say for per minute, per hour or per day.  I need information on Power Consumption per hour for Active-off mode and Switch off mode. Thanks for any help that can be provide on this matter

Hi ellispr,

Power consumption (watts) is an instantaneous number. To get the energy consumed over a period of time, you need to multiply by the amount of time. In the US (not sure of your country), electricity is billed in kiloWatt-hours. So for example, if a monitor consumes 45W in operational mode and 1W in powersave and you have it it on for 8 hours a day and and on power save the rest of the time, you will use up (8hoursx40W + 16hoursx1W) = 336 W-hours = 0.336 units per day.

Hope this helps.
