Refurbished 1704FPT monitors from TigerDirect.com Issues
I bought 15 refurbished 1704FPT flat panel displays from TigerDirect.com Now 1 monitor is blank, but the power button stays lit continuously no matter how much or hard you press it.
Two other monitors have started to 'blank out'. This all started 4 days after installing all of them. Immediately prior to the screen blanking-out, it becomes a bit brighter (for 1-2 seconds) The power light stays on, but you then have to power off/on to get the screen back on. The problem appears to be intermittent. The screen may work fine for a few hours, and then require multiple ON-OFFs within the course of a few minutes. There are no USB devices attached to either monitor.
The PCs seems OK, and I've attached a different flat screen monitor to them and everything works fine, leading me to believe the monitor may be the problem.
TigerDirect.com says I have to work through Dell to resolve all of this, Dell doesn't see the ownership of these terminals under my, or my company's name, so I'm out of luck there.
Anyone have any more suggestions or ideas?
