S2216H, randomly turns off
my S2216H is randomly turns off itself. while the monitor is off, a light at power switch on the monitor is also off. so this phenomenon is quite sure that the signal cable is still good. but seem like the problem is from power issue. has anyone have same issue?

For testing, the S2216H power cable should be plugged directly into the wall socket. No APC surge protector or power strip. Does the S2216H turn itself off when running the stand alone Built-in Diagnostics, page 34?

Thanks for your advise. for power surge is not observed. another electric appliance is also not show bad sign of electric issue.

No, it not turn off during perform diagnostics.

Since it does NOT turn off when running the BID, the monitor itself could be OK. Test the monitor on a different PC.
