S2240L, burn in

Hi,

S/N: CN-01MVD1-64180-45A-0VNT

Been using this monitor for a couple of years. Had no problem till date but observed the right edge of the screen having a burn in, shows brightly in white background. No luck calling Dell for fixing it because they don't deal with monitor repair. Suggest what I should do?

Built on May 10, 2014. So 4 years and 4 months old and out of warranty. Correct, there is no repair option through Dell.

* When connected to a PC, open the OSD Menu
* Go to Other Settings
* Choose Factory Reset (page 33)
* Go up to LCD Conditioning
* Choose Enable
* Let it run for 1 hour. See if it helps

Ran it for a couple of hours, slightly better but still can see the desktop icons burn in while using other applications.
