S2340M Left side Image burn

Came home yesterday and noticed the left side of my screen was a bit fuzzy so I restarted my computer when the splash screen came up for my motherboard I could clearly see my browser on the left side. I unplugged the DVI cable and ran the self test and I could clearly still see the problem. Here are a couple pictures with my phone so they aren't the best.

Already did it, still had the same problems. The pictures above where when I was in the Built-in Diagnostics. I also did the factory reset, and continue to have the problem.

Hi kBlanker,

Please perform the Built-in Diagnostics to confirm the hardware functionality. Steps to perform Built-in Diagnostics are:

  • Ensure that the screen is clean (no dust particles on the surface of the screen).
  • Unplug the video cable(s) from the back of the computer or monitor. The monitor then goes into the self-test mode.
  • Press and hold the Button 1 and Button 4 on the right side panel simultaneously for 2 seconds. A gray screen appears.
  • Carefully inspect the screen for abnormalities.
  • Press the Button 4 on the right side panel again. The color of the screen changes to red.
  • Inspect the display for any abnormalities.
  • Repeat steps 5 and 6 to inspect the display in green, blue, black, white, and text screens. The test is complete when the text screen appears. To exit, press the Button 4 again.

If you do not detect any screen abnormalities upon using the built-in diagnostic tool, the monitor is functioning properly. Check the video card and computer. Also try resetting the monitor to factory defaults. Here are the steps:

  • Bring the OSD Menu on the screen and select the 'Other Settings' option.

  • Use the arrow keys and select the Factory Reset option and then Reset All Settings option.
  • Check the monitor performance.
