S2415H, doesn't turn on

Question

I had to turn off and disconnect the monitor from the computer to do something. When I reconnected the monitor and turned on the computer, the monitor didn't turn on. The power light on the computer did turn on. What can I do next? The above Model # may instead be S2415Hb.

For this 7 year old out of warranty S2415H =
* Turn the PC off
* Disconnect every cable (including the power cable) from the S2415H
* Press the S2415H power button in for 8 seconds
* Reconnect the power cable and one video cable to the S2415H and PC
* Turn the PC on, then the S2415H. If the S2415H doesn't power on, it is faulty
