S2417DG, BurnIn mode, random colors #3, cannot overclock
I own this monitor since January 2017, bought it brand new online on dell website. For the first month I had no problem with the monitor. However, since February 2017, I currently have 2 problems with it and I've tried all the solutions that I've read on most forum and they did not work. I was bummed out that my brand new monitor didn't work as advertise. My pc was also built at the same time I bought the monitor, so all the component are only 1 year old. But, I had the burn in mode with the flash of four color appeared (green, red, white and blue) in February 2017 and at the same time I noticed that my monitor wouldn't overclock to 165 Hz like it used to for the first month. I know that I have a 3 Years Advanced Exchange Service, so I don't know if it's here that I need to post to get more information so I can fix it. I've tried unplugging the DP cable, resetting the display (nothing changes when I click on it true the monitor buttons near the power button), unplugging from the GPU (Nvidia gtx 1070), updating my GPU driver, checking for monitor driver update, etc. I don't know what to do to fix these 2 problems which I think are related.

The full screen red, green, blue, etc.means that the BurnIn mode has been turned on in the internal FSM (Factory Service Menu).
Dell policy concerning FSM
The monitor internal FSM is only used by our monitor manufacturer service center. Dell Technical Support cannot assist you with the FSM. If you break the monitor by making some other change in the FSM, the purchased warranty is voided.
Knowing the risk, if you decide to enter the FSM, remove the check from BurnIn. Then exit the FSM. A full power off may turn BurnIn back on. Or get a used/refurbished exchange if still inside the purchased warranty period.

And prior to the BurnIn mode appearing, did you at anytime enter the internal FSM (Factory Service Menu)?

If you mean by internal Factory service menu, the 4th button (near the power button), I can access it. I've tried removing the BurnIn mode by unchecking it, but it comes back right away, when you close the monitor. It seems the monitor forgets all changes done on the monitor after being turn off.
