S2419HGF, OSD buttons not working?

Question

I bought this Dell S2419HGF from Amazon a while back. I've been able to use the OSD buttons for a decent amount of its lifetime, however the buttons suddenly stopped displaying the OSD upon being pressed. This issue has been happening for a while now. However, I recently was able to gain access to the OSD for around 5 minutes. This access was however short-lived, as the buttons soon went back to their original, broken state. I believe one of the reasons that I was able to gain access to the OSD again was due to my power going out. My power went out for around only 30 seconds, however my computer remained shut down for the night (~8 hours). Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Disconnect power and video cable from monitor and hold the power button down for 30 seconds

There is no firmware update available for the Monitor.  So contact Dell for replacement
