S2440L, multiple problems

Question

Hello everyone, i bought this widescreen  S2440L monitor around four months ago. I have four gradual problems with this screen: 1-At first i had few issue with black lines blinking when using the HDMI port to connect to my lenovo thinkpad via mini display port. after few minutes from start up it fades away. 2- a new think is that the whole screen become black (as if it powered off ) for a second and then back to normal display. 3- A picture is best describe this case. it is spot of light in the middle lower side of the screen and the rest of the screen is dimmer but still displaying the content from PC ., please check the picture www.dropbox.com/.../IMG_2250.JPG 4- final think is that when i disconnect all cables (VGA and HDMI) and restart the screen it didn't display even the floating box or go to power saving mode. I cant see the menu because it flashing rapidly your help is appreciated thanks A.

Open the User's Guide. Go to pages 39-40. Run the built-in diagnostics. If the monitor fails or you cannot even run the built-in diagnostics, get it replaced.
