S2716DG, Deep sleep issue BUT I cannot get into OSD menus to shut it off.

II'm having the deep sleep issue and I'm having trouble getting into OSD menus.   All that happens regardless of the button I press on the bottom of the monitor is the input selection dialog pops up.  That's it.  I've disconnected everything, waited 30 minutes, plugged in only the power cord and still every button only pops up the input selection.

* What is the 20 digit alpha-numeric monitor serial number? 74261-6B5-07GQ-A04
* What specific computer model? Lenovo T430
* What operating system? Windows 7
* What video card? Nvidia Optimus
* Video card driver version? 354.45
* What video out ports are available on the video card? DP x 2, DVI x 2, vga
* What video out port are you using from the video card to what video in port on the monitor? DP to DP
* What cable are you using to attach the video card to the monitor? Amazon DP to DP
* What windows power plan? Balanced
* Press the monitor Menu button to open the monitor OSD (On Screen Display). I CANNOT get the OSD to display, only the input selection display pops up.  Every button, 1-4 all will display the input selection.
* Was the monitor purchased from Dell or some reseller? Best Buy

Hi Chris, I could not get that procedure to work.  However, once I connected to the HDMI port, i.e. DP to HDMI, then the OSD would display when I press button 3.  Ironically, now that it has worked once, it works on the DP to DP configuration.  Weird, but I'm happy now.  I turned off the deep sleep and all of my other problems went away too!  Thanks.

The OSD will only appear when the DP to DP cable is connecting the S2716DG to the Lenovo T430 and the Lenovo T430 is turned on. So connect them, turn both on. Once windows appears on the laptop screen, use the laptop display settings to extend the windows desktop to the S2716DG. Once it appears, then press the OSD Menu button.
