This monitor  does have a Deep Sleep Enable/Disable in the OSD, Look on page 34 of the users manual below.

Unfortunately,  there are no plans to create a new firmware that accounts for the watts used by disabling Deep Sleep.

You stated, "uses 13 watts in Stand By". How did you measure this? The wattages used are shown in the online User's Guide page 15 and do not mention 13w?

On = Maximum 90w, Typical 47w
Active-Off (Deep Sleep) Mode = Less than .5w
Turned off = Less than .3w

Zero power consumption in OFF mode can only be achieved by disconnecting the
main (power) cable from the monitor.

The bigger issue here is that you stated it would not awaken from Deep Sleep mode. To what computer is the S2716DG attached? Using what cable? What video card is in the computer? What operating system? What power management is the computer set to?

I have 3x of these S2716DGs and ALL 3 of them wont wake from deep sleep mode.  you cant tell me all 34 monitors are bad.

Asus z-370 Mobo

i7 - 8700k

msi gtx 1070

monitors factory DP cables used
