S2719DGF, power button sometimes not working, flashes randomly

I have this monitor for a few months now, however, recently when trying to turn the monitor on/off with the power (white) LED button, the button doesn't seem to function as intended. Sometimes I'm unable to turn off/on the display of the monitor which ultimately makes me have to unplug to have the display turn off otherwise it would just stay in "sleep mode" (and sometimes when plugging the power cord back in, it's still not allowing me to turn off the display).

Also occasionally, the monitor display sometimes flashes black once as if its turned off for a few seconds and reverts back to normal. This happens like a few times a week and is random without any specific causes.

I have checked all my cables to be plugged in correctly (pushed in as deep as I can), and ensure all drivers are up to date and installed correctly. 

Is there a fix for this or is this a faulty monitor I'm having?
