Go to the Apple Forum and enter your specific Dell monitor model in the top search bar. Read through any existing threads. If need be, start a new thread detailing your hardware and issue.

Thank you! I have searched the apple community, and posted there. I was hoping that somebody here might have seen something similar.
It is a new monitor, so I have also reported it to Dell support.
