S3220DGF, 120Hz update?

I've read other posts saying this is not planned but thought I'd voice my opinion as well. I really love this monitor and just ordered one from Dell shortly before reading it does not support 120Hz. Is there any chance of this monitor being updated in the future?

Note = As the title of this thread indicates, this does NOT apply to any Alienware monitors! This ONLY applies to the S3220DGF monitor.

Any NEW S3220DGF purchased directly from Dell after June 2, 2020 should already have the latest firmware installed on it allowing HDMI 1920x1080 120Hz and HDMI 2560x1440 120Hz using the supported operating system. You will have to explore the Xbox and PlayStation Menu for applicable video settings. Dell cannot speak to any retailer purchased S3220DGF as far as firmware version.

This is shown in the updated S3220DGF User's Guide A01 on page 17 =

Any S3220DGF built before June 2, 2020 (check the rear label for the build date and A0x revision) will not have the firmware needed for HDMI 1920x1080 120Hz and HDMI 2560x1440 120Hz. In those cases, all you can do is contact a DELL-Cares agent via a private message and request a refurbished exchange. The used/refurbished replacement should have the latest firmware installed.
