Do I need to connect both HDMI and USB cables to my Dell Latitude 7410? Using for office work rather than gaming.

If you want to connect any USB peripheral devices to the S3221QS bottom USB downstream ports, then you must connect the provided USB 3.0 upstream cable to the PC. If your USB peripheral devices connect directly to the PC, you do not need the USB 3.0 upstream cable.
