SE2717H, HDMI to laptop, not full screen?
I am using a HDMI cable to connect this monitor to my laptop. Surprisingly, I am not getting the full screen view. I can see at least an inch has been left out around the display area. Has anyone faced the same issue?

What specific laptop model and operating system? Both the laptop and SE2717H are on and you are looking at the windows desktop on the SE2717H.
* Press the SE2717H Menu button. What is the Resolution shown at the bottom?
* Go to Display
* The Aspect Ratio should be Wide 16:9
* Exit the Menu
* Move your mouse over to the SE2717H screen
* Right click the Desktop
* Click Display Settings
* What is the resolution?
* For my notes, send me via Private Message the SE2717H service tag number
