SE2717H maximum resolution = 1920x1080 60Hz
SE2717H cables = VGA to VGA

* Does the SE2717H standalone BID (Built-in Diagnostics) (page 40) pass or fail?
* The Ryzen 3 2200g is a CPU. What PC model?
* Are you saying that this PC does not have an added video card? That it is using the motherboard onboard video out ports.
* What operating system is currently installed?

* Computer VGA cannot upconvert to a monitor HDMI via a straight cable.
* Computer HDMI to monitor VGA will work.
* What cable and converter are you using to connect the PC to the SE2717H?

Whoops, i mistook the cable. I actually used AmazonBasics HDMI Input to DVI Output Adapter Cable.

Computer DVI-D to Monitor HDMI with windows 10 computer. 

Adding a good AMD video card that has HDMI out port is the best option. That cable is trying to upconvert the computer DVI-D to monitor HDMI? Perhaps this would be better =
