SE2717H, randomly goes black

Hello all, just bought this monitor a few days ago. Currently running on a dual monitor setup with the dell monitor connected directly to my GTX1070 HDMI port.

-Verified cable is working by using on another monitor

-Reinstalled and updated drivers

-Made sure pc power settings are not on power saving mode

-Factory reset the monitor

Tried everything above but nothing seems to work. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Before considering the SE2717H defective, I would purchase locally a standard 1920x1080 60Hz HDMI cable and test it. Or contact Dell Technical Support and have them send you the Dell HDMI to HDMI cable, part GTT69.

Are you testing with the HDMI to HDMI cable that shipped in the SE2717H box?

Was the other monitor, connected using the same HDMI to HDMI cable and GTX 1070 HDMI port, also using 1920x1080 60 Hz?

* Turn all three off (computer, other monitor, SE2717H)
* Disconnect both monitors cabling from the computer
* Connect only the SE2717H via its HDMI to HDMI cable to the GTX 1070 HDMI port
* Turn the SE2717H on
* Turn the computer on
* Retest

No I'm testing with a cable from the ASUS VG248 box which is my primary monitor. I found it weird that I found 1 VGA and 2 power cables but not hdmi cable from the dell box. I'm only able to test with this port as my gpu only offers one dvi, one hdmi(Used by main) and 3 dp ports.

Yes the other monitor was connected in the same fashion but that monitors a 144Hz one.

Retested but problem still seems to persist...
