ST2220T Touchscreen Compatibility with Photoshop

I am using this touchscreen monitor on a Windows 7 system and am having some technical difficulties using Photoshop.

Whenever I use any tool it misreads my command as if to pan (which is done with the mouse by holding the space bar)

What can I do to make this monitor more compatible with the adobe products?

mizdictator,

Can you post a youtube video of this issue in action so I can send the link to engineering?

Here is a video. I'm sorry for the low quality but I still shows what is the issue. It occurs with any tool selected.

I can use the mouse fine, but that kinda defeats the point of spending the extra money for a touch screen monitor.

Thank you!

And the issue only occurs when using the Photoshop application? I mean the touch functions on the windows desktop, in browser usage, etc. ?

Yes. It functions as expected with any other program, even big named ones such as AutoCAD, Rhinoceros (though it is clumsy but I think that's just because I'm not used to it), and even other adobe products such as Illustrator.

It is only having these difficulties with Photoshop.

mizdictator,

In the lab, they were able to use the ST2220T and Adobe Photshop. This tells us that the hardware is compatible with the software. Please remove Adobe Photoshop, restart the system, reinstall the software and retest.

if this only happens with Adobe software, maybe it is not caused by touch monitor. I did not see this kinda issue with my ST2220T.

I am having exactly the same problem with Photoshop CS6 and my new 2340T.  You can't paint or use any of the tools by "touch".

Same here with dell inspiron 7000 13'' and its really bugging me. I did some research and according to adobe is that photoshop does not support dirvers by dell. Touch input is only for navigating and resizing/rotating document. Any help would be cool.
