ST2310, HDMI suddenly stopped working

My ST2310f monitor will no longer display anything through its HDMI or DVI-D inputs.  I have tried multiple HDMI cables, and have tested both my laptop and Xbox 360 on my television through HDMI, so I know it is not the source or the cable.  When connected to the monitor. the monitor says its entering power saving mode and when I wake it up using the buttons on the side it says there is no signal coming from your computer.  The monitor does however work through its VGA input. I talked to someone over the phone and they were no help, and I really would like the use of the HDMI input back since the monitor is only 18 months old!

mgoo,

* Does the ST2310 Built-in Diagnostics (page 31) pass? If no, contact Support and get it replaced. If it does pass, run the steps below

* Power off the PC
* Power off the monitor
* Disconnect the power cord from the monitor
* Disconnect all monitor cords from the PC (USB, DVI, VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.)
* While disconnected, press and hold the monitor power button down for 5 seconds
* Reconnect the DVI cord to the monitor and to the PC video card
* Reconnect the power cord to the monitor
* Power on the monitor if it does not power on by itself
* Power on the PC
* Press the monitor Input Source Select button and choose DVI. What happens? Now test HDMI, what happens?

The self-test works for VGA and DVI-D, and it says, No DVI-D Cable and No VGA Cable, respectively.  For HDMI it goes black and then says Entering Power Saving Mode, when I press a button on the side of the monitor it says There is No Signal Coming From Your Computer.

The self-test does not pass. I contacted support and they suggested that I buy a new monitor.
