SX2210T, file issues
Hi,
This is a very old thread indeed but I hope someone will respond to it. Right now there are two files with the same file name:
Win 7 Touch App = DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_R228609.exe
Win 7 WebCam App = DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_R228609.exe
And they both install webcam. Please Fix this problem. Thanks. Wish I could post a screenshot.

You have to expand each driver listed to get the full details. The two R228609 have different driver name and release dates.
2/25/13, SX2210T Touch Monitor Driver, y5jk9, DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_driver.exe, 122.77 KB
2/25/13, SX2210T Touch Monitor Webcam Appl, fjxyj, DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_R228609.exe, 80.65 MB
3/22/12, SX2210T Touch Monitor Application, y0d07, DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_R228581.exe, 9.4 MB
3/22/12, SX2210T Touch Monitor Driver, 988jp, DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_R228572.exe, 123.73 KB
3/22/12, SX2210T Touch Monitor, 3pdvm, DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_R228609.exe, 80.65 MB

Thanks Chris,
Only the release dates different. The file name and veriosn are same . If they are different why do both install webcam ?
If you are right then I expect this file to install the touch drivers:
3/22/12, SX2210T Touch Monitor, 3pdvm, DELL_SX2210T-TOUCH-MONITOR_A00-00_R228609.exe, 80.65 MB
But when i install this file it only gives me option to repair or remove previously install ed wecam driver. So I removed and ran the same file expecting it to install the touch drivers this time. But again it installed the webcam only.
So i conclude that this is also webcam driver . Please check again.
One of the drivers from
http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/search.aspx?q=nextwindow
worked for me, but unable to calibrate it.
Also, can you please assist me on how to intall this touch screen on Ubuntu 18.0X4 ?
Some help will be appreciated. Take care.
Cheers.

* The release dates and 5 digit names (fjxyj and 3pdvm) are different. They both perform the same function. One is just newer.
* Linux was never tested/validated for the SX2210T. You have to be using these drivers and the SX2210T in the supported operating systems = Windows XP/Vista/7

* Dell never provided the actual touch driver. It was always "part/embedded" of the supported operating system. Dell only provided the CAT/INF/ICM driver and the webcam device driver.
