Service Tag not found on Monitor
Hey,
I'm having flickering problem in one monitor on my office. Since we need to move CPU and monitor here and there sometimes, I can't locate the exact CPU that the Monitor belongs to. How can i know the service tag of the monitor i'm having problem with? I do have its Serial number though.

Until recently, only the larger (27" >) monitors received a service tag number. The monitor serial number is not tied to any Dell number (Service Tag, Customer, Order). The monitor serial number is put on the monitor by the manufacturer, not Dell. A monitor and computer are not normally tied to each other unless you bought them both under the same Dell order number.
Based on the 20 digit alpha numeric serial number, Technical Support can check the build date. If within 3 years, they can exchange it.
