Software to control U2711 (Windows 7)

Hey! Just revieved my awesome new pc monitor :) Love everything about it, but one thing i DO miss from my previous monitor is the ability to dim the lights automatically when it's dark in the room (ambilight or whatever it's called).

I know this is a professional monitor that isn't supposed to do this kind of things, but i do use it alot when it's dark in the room and with the great blacklight on this thing i have to turn it down otherwise my eyes wont last for long i think! hehe.

I was wondering if i could use an external program on my windows 7 os to control the screen. I know it has DDC/CI so is there a program out there which i can use to control the birhgtness of the monitor? It's a pain to use the controlls on the screen itself all the time.

So if anyone please could point me to a program that can control my monitor from windows 7 i'd be happy :-)

I have two U2412M and I use the energy feature built into the monitor to automatic adjust the brightness.. if I turn the lights on\off in my home office, I can see the screens get brighter or dimmer..

under the menu, and then other settings and then energy smart

Hope this helps.
