Touch screen audio production workstation

Question

Hi Dell community, I am a music producer from Melbourne who is seeking some advice on a new computer for my live setup given the dual touch monitor setup I would like to incorporate. My vision is to be able to run two touchscreen 24 inch monitors side by side through a PC (or better yet: laptop). This would effectively emulate a lot of the features I would want from running two i7 Surface Studios for around a quarter of the price. The priority of the computer I am looking for is to be able to run Ableton Live 9 suite and a range of plugins - typically 1-3 medium sized ones at a time in the live environment: and then being able to design an effective user experience for my idea of performing - screen lag isn't too much of an issue for my project though and an i7 7th or 8th gen would do the job from the audio side.   Additionally, I'd love to be able to expand this later on adding a Superwide monitor in front of the two touchscreens for the studio setup when budget allows. Any help or advice on what computer options and accessories would allow for this vision would be greatly appreciated :) Many thanks, Tim

I realize this is a Dell forum and the inquiry is about Dell products. However from reading your query I would say a custom system is your best option. My best suggestion is to contact a company that does custom builds of audio DAW systems. They can offer you exactly what you want and not have to take a "general purpose" system and try to configure it to work for a DAW. Jim Roseberry at Purrfect Audio would be the person to contact. He builds systems for recording studios and video studios.
