U2211H, DisplayPort loose inside case
I have a ridiculous problem. I have an old U2211H. I need to start using the DisplayPort, but it has separated from the case and is loose inside. I have tried to tighten the outside screw, but when I do it turns so that it is no longer aligned with the cutout. I've tried opening up the case but it's too difficult. Edit: Well, I got the thing open, but the displayport is inaccessible. it's underneath a circuit board that won't come out.

Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor components, or have disassembly documentation. Your only option is to take it to a local TV repair center to see if they can disassemble it. The cost of repair will outweigh the current market value of this 5 year old monitor.
