What files are listed in the folder 1449622?

The installation instructions for DELL_U2312HM-MONITOR_A00-00_R300820.exe refer to an extracted Setup.exe that it does not contain. Likewise missing are u2312hm.icm and u2312hm.inf. The only files included are:

C:\dell\drivers\R300820\1449622\DriverLanguageMap.xml

C:\dell\drivers\R300820\1449622\driver000\u2312hm.cat

Perhaps you can explore the software disc and attach the driver here.

The drivers are available from Windows Update.

Windows is still not recognizing my displays si maybe is the cause of this...

Where can I download the Windows XP 32 bit drivers?

Becouse in the web, there are only Vista 64 Drivers...

The driver package is the same for XP/2000, Vista, and 7 but as said is incomplete.

If it does not solve your DP problem then check the OS power settings (although limited in XP) and also Catalyst Control Center. At the very least maybe the Detect Displays function could be used rather than replugging the monitor.

But I also had the same problem, is really strange, on the first boot up, I switch between the 1 monitor profile and the 2 monitor, and I had enormous corruption on the second monitor (the DVI)... I reboot, the second monitor starts in 640x480, then I select the profile again, and everything works... The ATI drivers are updated, now the monitor drivers...

I am also having a problem with this monitor and the drivers.

My main problem is that Windows detects the monitor as a "Generic Non-PnP Monitor" with a max resolution of 1600 x 1200. This is not correct.

I downloaded the files provided above, but all it gave me was and .inf and a .icm file. How do I get Windows to recognize this as the Display that it is?

A .cat file is included also. However, to install simply right-click on the .inf and choose "Install", or from Device Manager for the Generic Non-PnP Monitor choose "Update Driver Software..." and browse to the location of the files.

Hi Slavi,

I also faced the same problem when trying to install drives via browser. Here is how I solve problem: 

Don't use autorun when you insert the disk into CD drive. Just turn autorun off and the open Windows Explorer to explore your computer hard drives.

Browse the CD contents and find the folder named "drivers", open it and double click on the file "Dell Monitor Driver Installer"

This will help the Installer load the driver files contains in the folder and install them into your computer.
