U2412M black screen and interference

Hello,

I have the following problem with my new U2412M monitor (Dec 2013), when running the screen goes randomly black for some seconds and I also see random horizontal short lines (spikes, interference) across the screen every now and then. I have updated the drivers from the monitor and the video card, etc. My system: Acer Aspire T180 PC; AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ ; MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1; NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS. When using the old LG Monitor (1440x900) I don’t seem to have this problem, all do occasionally I have a blue screen. Can please somebody tell me what I am seeing and how to solve this problem? I am using the DVI ports and not the VGA ports, the VGA don’t seem to give any problem.
