U2414H. GeForce GTX 970, DisplayPort connection problems

Hi,

I just bought a u2414 and am having massive problems. My screen won't connect to DP-in, nor mDP-in. My graphics card is a EVGA GTX 970 and I am currently using its single HDMI-output to power a TV. I thus want to use the 970's one and only DP (it has no outgoing mDP either) to power the u2414. There is nothing wrong with the DP-chord. I used it on a functioning screen minutes ago. I have also tried downloading new drivers for the graphics card, changing power settings in Windows 8, changing power settings in the Nvidia Control Panel and enabling Displayport 1.2 within the screens own settings. Nothing works. I don't know how to solve this. Very dissapointed. Please help.

Alex

Hi,

Already read through those, thanks. Have tried everything in them. My problem is very much still a problem, what should or could I do now?
