Does the monitor pass its BID (Built-in Diagnostics)?
What is the 20 digit serial number and revision?
Was it purchased directly from Dell?

I'd want to add that the monitor works almost randomly. Today it worked at first, i restarted my computer 3 times and it worked. Then at the fourth time, the Power Save Mode message appeared again.

Yes, the monitor passed its BID (RGB screens, black, white and the one with text).

Serial number: CN-09TG46-74261-5AJ-DR1S

Revision: REV A03

Purchased from Amazon

Manufactured on January 19, 2015. So 14 1/2 months old. Did amazon sell this as new or used? Did you test by disabling DP 1.2 in the monitor OSD (On Screen Display)?

Yes, I ran the test with DP 1.2 enabled.

And the product was sold as new by Amazon.

I wrote, "Did you test by disabling DP 1.2".  I would not accept a new product that was 14 months old. If me, I would return it to amazon for refund. Then buy a new one directly from Dell.

I tried both, by enabling and disabling DP 1.2 anyway.

As It seems the problem is generic with U2414H monitor and its DisplayPort, i don't think that could be a solution. Will you create a driver or something for this problem in the future?

I have no idea what could happen in the future.
