U2414H flickering?

I have bough a Dell u2414h because it's flicker free (my eyes are very sensitive to flicker). The problem is that i have done a video with my iphone 5 and the screen flicker from 0% to 100% brightness. Do you think it is from the iphone camera or there is a problem with the monitor? I connect the monitor with hdmi cable to a 5 year old laptop. I also install u2414h latest drivers for windows 7 64.

Video from my new u2414h flickering.

Another video at 50% brightness and 60% contrast..

Stardust3,

50% brightness and 60% contrast is out of factory specifications.

* Press the monitor Menu button (3rd from the left) to bring up the OSD (On Screen Display)
* Go to Other Settings
* Go to Factory Reset
* Choose Reset All Settings
* Go to Brightness/Contrast and verify that they are at 75/75
* Go to Color Settings and verify that these are chosen:
Input Color Format = RGB
Gamma = PC
Preset Modes = Standard
* Go to Display Settings and verify that DisplayPort 1.2 is DISABLED
* Exit the OSD

Retest. Also test a different HDMI cable. If available, DP (DisplayPort) out from this or another computer into the monitor DP (DisplayPort) in.

Get it replaced.

* Go back to the top of this Monitor Forum
* Open "FAQ Monitor"
* Open "Exchange instructions. No Dell Service Tag number on 24" and smaller? No registration?"
