U2415 - Calibration setting or bad panel?
I just purchased another U2415 and when I look at the two side by side, I notice that the new monitor has washed out whites and grays - they appear more yellow than white. It's more evident when you drag a window so half of the window displays on each monitor.
Is this a calibration setting that can be adjusted, or is this panel just off? Everything is default in Windows, my nVidia driver, and in the OSD itself (on both monitors). Here are my specs:
* What is the 20 digit alpha-numeric monitor serial number? CZ-0F525M-73608-021-341L A01:
I'd rather not post that info here, do I have to?
* What specific computer model?
Custom built
* What operating system?
Windows 10
* What video card?
nVidia GTX 970 4GB
* Video card driver version?
359.06
* What video out ports are available on the video card?
DisplayPort, HDMI, 2x DVI
* What video out port are you using from the video card to what video in port on the monitor?
DisplayPort out of the Video card into monitor 1 (the one without the issue). Then DP out from M1 to DP in on M2. I tried plugging the monitor directly into the video card with HDMI, but the results are the same.
* What windows power plan? Example = High performance, PCI-e Link State Off
Windows Power Plan is set to Balanced, but I doubt that has any effect. I turned PCI-e power saving off.
* Press the monitor Menu button to open the monitor OSD (On Screen Display). The bottom of that screen should show a resolution. What is listed?
1920 x 1200, 60hz
* Was the monitor purchased from Dell or some reseller?
I purchased it from NewEgg last weekend.

Without the usage of calibration hardware and software, matching even same monitor models is going to be hard.
* Reset them both in the OSD (On Screen Display) -Other Settings -Factory Reset
* Use the OSD- Brightness/Contrast and tweak the 1st monitor to your liking. Then do the same on the 2nd monitor to match the 1st monitor
* Use the OSD- Color- Preset Modes- Custom Color- RGB to tweak the settings on both to get as close as you can
