What added video card is in the XPS 8900? Look on the back/bottom of the XPS 8900. What video out ports do you see?

Hi Chris Thanks for taking my post.

I have not requested for any. I just see this one:

item#: 490-BCPS     Description:NVIDIA(R)GeForce(R)GT730 2GB DDR3

I see on the bottom  One VGA, One HDMI, One DVI.

Then on the Side black panel just below where the internet port is on the side is a DP and another HDMI

After my last post I changed the selection on the monitor menu by selecting mini DPI. It got connected once. I got the login page but it looked like it was in a safe mode. I entered my login and the screen just vanished to pith black with no signal message. Also I had a hard time after this episode to reconnect to my old monitor. It won't show anything. Another thing that happened that my PC went into start up repair. Nothing was found but a message that if I have connected a new device I have to disconnect and restart. It worked the PC turned on and my old monitor came alive too.

Also I called Dell tech support but they won't entertain me as I am unable to find any service tag or express code on this monitor. The only thing is the serial name which was of no use to the tech support. I found this very unusual too. The Monitor is from December 2015.

One more thing the PC came with WIN 10 and was downgraded by us to WIN 7 PRO

Thanks

You should not be using the middle #6 DP or #7 HDMI when there is an added video card.

You should be connecting in this way =
Bottom GT730 HDMI out --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2415 HDMI in

The U2415 has two HDMI in ports #3, HDMI (MHL) 1 and HDMI (MHL) 2 =

So in the U2415 Menu OSD (On Screen Display) -Input Source, you have to choose the correct one =
