U2417H, A01, black screen flicker problem
This is a known issue.
We have had these monitors connected to: E7400 laptops, Dell docking stations, M93P Lenovo Desktops, M900 Lenovo Desktops, Custom built Nvidia Quadro desktops, and T440s Laptops.
Regardless of cable, cable brand, driver, firmware, Bios settings, monitor refresh rate, Monitor DP setting, Windows version, Windows update, etc.
Irrespective of any factor, these monitors flicker a black screen every few minutes. We have read somewhere that it is due to a bad capacitor on the A01 revision of the U2417H Monitors.
We have a pallet full of these in operation, 32+ Monitors that tend to suffer from this problem. These are all part of the 2016 A01 batch of U2417H monitors.
Is there a recall for this problem? And what do we need to do to get all of these replaced.
Our latest order\batch of monitors are from A05 and they do not have this problem.

There was no recall. A normal consumer would simply contact Technical Support to arrange a single monitor exchange. Based on your statement, "We have a pallet full of these in operation", you are not a normal consumer. You will need to contact your companies Dell TAM (Technical Account Manager) to arrange the multi-monitor exchanges.
