U2417H, color issues

I just bought the above monitor to use with my Asus N56J laptop with an integrated Intel HD4600 graphics card and an Nvidia GForce GTX760M discrete graphics card. I have them connected via HDMI cable. I have a very curious problem in that when i first boot up, the monitor has a very yellow cast to it. I looked up black and white photos, and even viewed black and white videos on youtube and they look sepia in tone to me, not black and white. When I use the color calibration tool in windows 8.1, I'm able to make the monitor look as i want it to, but as soon as I try rebooting or shutting down and starting back up again, the same sepia problem appears as soon as the laptop finishes loading everything. As I wait for everything to load, the monitor still retains the adjustments I made in the previous session (I changed to a black and white photo as my wallpaper so I can tell right away.) But the moment everything loads it reverts back to that sepia cast. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you.

Take the computer, operating system, software, and cabling out of the troubleshooting equation. Run the monitor BID (Built-in Diagnostics) page 49. If you do not see the issue on the BID colored screens, then the monitor itself is fine.
