U2417H, turned orange
Just a couple of months after warranty, while watching a movie, this happened:
Given that the problem insists even with no input signal, i don't think that there is much to be done here. I just hope it is worth fixing.
Thanks

Click my DELL-username and via private message, send me the monitor service tag number, 20 digit serial number, A0x revision number. See the back label.
Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor internal components, or have monitor disassembly documentation. We simply exchange them while still under the purchased warranty period.
Try this =
* Turn the U2417H off
* Disconnect EVERY cable from the U2417H (Power, HDMI, DP, mDP, Audio, USB)
* Press and hold the U2417H power button for 8 seconds
* Release the power button
* Reconnect only the power cable to the U2417H
* Press the power button and try to run the standalone Built-in Diagnostics (page 49)
- If the Built-in Diagnostics runs successfully, reconnect to the PC and retest
- If the Built-in Diagnostics fails, replace it
