U2419H, bad display

Hi everyone! I have purchased Dell U2419H to be used together with my Lenovo Legion y540. Being "UltraSharp" series I was expecting a nice display. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed. Display on my Lenovo is way nicer than the one on Dell U2419H. Colors are just better on my Lenovo which is a shame and doesn't make any sense, again, considering this is "UltraSharp" series and also factory calibrated. Also whites on U2419H are not white at all, they are yellowish. Here is a comparison with my Lenovo screen. U2419H is connected through DisplayPort and is using Nvidia color settings with Output dynamic range set to Full. I have tried with different color modes, brightness, contrast etc., but it just seems it's a bad display. My question is, should I try to do something or is the model just "bad"?

Thanks ahead

Run the monitor stand alone Built-in Diagnostics and check if the colors appear fine. Refer to page 49 in the online U2419H User's Guide.

I have the very same monitor, and bought the ultrasharp series expectation of good colour and display, and was very disappointed. I noticed too vertical lines, in particular with blue shades show up when watching video, which is very distracting. For a very expensive ultra sharp, i was disappointed.

Dell did best they could with replacements and assistance, but as I got my from a different merchant, could not do anything about it.

I purchased an additional much cheaper S2421HN which display wise is better, even if its suppose to be inferior.
