No, you cannot update the firmware. That is only done in our service centers on returned monitors.
* Turn the room lights on. Dell monitors are not validated in a dark room. All monitors are inspected per industry standard, which is with 150lux ambient lighting (similar to typical office lighting) * Reset the monitor to Factory Defaults, page 43. The Brightness and Contrast should return to 75 for both * Post pictures of the standalone BID (Built-in Diagnostics), page 50, showing the stuck pixel and backlight. I will tell you if it meets our manufacturer specifications for overall uniformity
According to Dell, if I need to configure higher brightness and contrast than default one, I will suffer from back-bleeding. The default configuration is not really good for me, so I need to increase brightness and contrast. I have two another monitors that are from the 2014 year and I do not have any problem with back bleeding.
For me, the main problem is that I didn't get valid information from Dell. I consumed my time and money and I have a monitor with two problems, not-solved problem and stuck pixel.
Not-solved problem - Salesperson from Dell said that the problem is fixed on all monitors that I buy from Dell
What do you suggest me to do?
Could you please recommend me any monitor that is 25" 2k or 4k but that is not old like U2516D?
Do you maybe know if there are any plans from Dell to release 25" monitors in 2019?
Thank you for feedback. Is there the same procedure for returning monitor in Dell Germany. If not, could you provide me the link?
Could you please explain to me why this back bleeding is available on Dell IPS monitor from 2018, but there is not available on Dell IPS monitor from 2014? Is there also back bleeding on U2516D?
I can only speak to the USA policy and procedures. You would have to contact Dell Germany Technical Support using the service tag number to find out of the procedure differs. Read this.

* That stuck bright pixel defect warrants a like for like model exchange.
Could you please recommend me any monitor that is 25" 2k or 4k but that is not old like UP2516D?
* The only 25" we offer are the UP2516D and U2518D.
Do you maybe know if there are any plans from Dell to release 25" monitors in 2019?
* Unfortunately, we do not get that kind of future data.
