@mariko57 According to the User's Guide, the monitor also came with USB Type-C to C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable. If you don't have USB Type-C on your computer, use the USB Type-C to Type-A cable to connect to the upstream port on the monitor. The USB upstream port is the USB Type-C port labeled #6 in the User's Guide.
Since the USB Type-C port is USB 3.0 you should use a USB Type-A port on the computer that is also USB 3.0 if you have one.
