Chris, thank you for the answer. Can you also help with the (2)nd question, namely, will the stand from DoubleSight do?

* If it has the standard 100x100, the four screws should line up into out monitor.

BTW, any idea why Dell didn't include rotateable stand (as in 24'' version)? And is there any hope that, in the future, such a stand will be made available?

* Doubtful.

I forgot:  is it possible that I just screw the display on VESA mount rotated by 90°? That is, does it matter in which orientation do I screw the display on the VESA 100x100 mount?

* I do not know. We never tried it.

All we sell are the 3rd party stands (Chief). We do not sell the stands that ship with our Dell monitors.

This would be the simplest solution, though not truly rotate-able. :)

Yes. You can remount the screen on the stand if you take an angle grinder to the easy mount guide tabs to remove them. This will make the mount plate square and allow you to mount the screen in any rotation.
