U2713HM, how to set max resolution?
My computer is an i7-4790 with 16GB RAM, my GPU is Radeon R7 370 4GB, and my monitor is DELL U2713HM.
I have tried using the HDMI cable and also the DisplayPort cable. With either cable, the max resolution I see is 1920x1080.
Am I doing something wrong? Or are my components not able to recognize 2560x1440?

So I bought another displayport cable, this time it is a 1.4, the previous one was 1.2 and it still did not work.
Then I realized I needed to toggle the input via the buttons above the power button. It was set to HDMI, and I figured the monitor would auto-sense the input..
So the cable was not the problem..
But it's fixed now and i have 2560x1440.

The online 2012 U2713HM User's Guide states on page 3 that the HDMI 1.4 port can only do up to 1920x1080.
The U2713HM DP in port should be able to do 2560x1440.
The 2015 Radeon R7 370 DP out port should also be able to do 2560x1440.
Be sure that that you have the latest AMD Radeon driver installed. Consider testing another DP to DP cable.
