U2718Q, MacBook Pro 2017, 4K 60Hz problem
I have MacBook Pro from 2017 which supports 4K 60Hz resolution and DELL U2718Q monitor that also is on 60Hz. The problem is that I only have 30Hz video refresh rate on my MacBook. I have connected the U2718Q through a Satechi Hub that also supports 60Hz connection with HDMI cable that also supports 60 Hz. What seems to be the problem? Should I buy a 60Hz cable converter from DP to HDMI and then try to connected to Satechi Hub?
Please help!

The problem if any is in the adapter. Plug directly thunderbolt to DP input in monitor, it is the native output in thunderbolt (use a cable thunderbolt3/USB-C to DisplayPort).
As a general rule DP is prefered over HDMI, DP is far ahead in specs no matter what display model or manufacturer you use.
