U2718Q, glowing color border? #3
Hi. I have a U2718Q and the edges of the display have started glowing recently, exactly as described by 2 other customers here and here. Here is a picture of the problem...
- Leaving the monitor off overnight seems to cure the problem the next day, but only for 10-20 min or so, after which the glowing will come back.
- The problem happens on all inputs with different sources, so pretty sure it's related to the panel.
May I know what's the solution? It feels like this is a common problem with the U2718Q... Is this model defective...? Thanks...

Yes, the replacement was delivered on Friday (HKT) and hence the service is completed. The replacement monitor is working fine and has no issue so far. Thank you again for arranging the service request and logistic!
