U2718Q, when will M2B102 ship?
When will the U2718Q start shipping with the new firmware? I'm reading about how 'non HDR' content now looks washed out. How does all of this work on Mac OSX?

Unknown. M2B102 was released on 1/19/18. My guess is that all new U2718Q purchased directly from Dell (not a reseller) would have it installed.
Users are confused by the HDR versus non-HDR content. Dell HDR is a two step process. You have to change both the U2718Q Smart HDR setting and Windows 10 HDR Display setting.
When using the Windows desktop or any other non-HDR content, HDR should be Off
* Change the U2718Q OSD -Display -Smart HDR to Off
* Right click on Windows 10 Display Settings
* Switch HDR and advanced colors to Off
When using an HDR Game or Movie, HDR should be On
* Change the U2718Q OSD -Display -Smart HDR to On
* Right click on Windows 10 Display Settings
* Switch HDR and advanced colors to On
Dell never tested/validated the U2718Q on the Apple proprietary hardware, operating system (including Windows Bootcamp), and drivers.
The firmware cannot be installed using Apple OS. The firmware can only be installed when the U2718Q is connected to a true Windows computer.
