I bought the same U2719D monitor after I dropped the old U2715H that I've been using for a few years. I was disappointed with this strong backlight, but also in the refresh rate I noticed a deterioration (in the game). Maybe it will be the panel difference from IPS (LG) to the new PLS (Samsung)? I don't know, but the impression that over the years the quality has not improved for this line of models.
