U2719DC, no Linux support or drivers
Well Chris, that does it for me. Different customer, but equally annoyed at your (and I guess Dell's) disregard for anything non-Windows. Shame, because it's a nice monitor, but if it's not supported by OS's I use, then I'll simply return under false advertising.

"false advertising" ?
I just checked the U2719DC sales site and do not see a reference to Linux. On what Dell website did you read that the U2719DC had Linux drivers and support?
From the online U2719DC User's Guide =

Let's examine your claim Chris: https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/accessories/apd/210-aqyw
Overview - nothing about being WIndows only
Tech specs - nothing about being Windows only
Reviews - funnily enough the first review I see is about connecting to an iMac and how great it is
Drivers, manuals, support - nothing presented at first glance.
As I said, false advertising.
