The only difference between U2719DX and U2719D is that the DX comes with an HDMI cable, while D comes with a DP cable. Why you need to two different versions for this only Dell knows. Most monitor manufacturers just sell a single model and include both HDMI and DP cable in the box.

According to my knowledge, this is incorrect. They both use the exact same IPS panel, see the manual: https://dustinweb.azureedge.net/media/420778/ultrasharp-u2719d.pdf The specs for both are all the exact same.

Go here and compare all three U2719 versions (D, DX, DC). It shows PLS, IPS, and IPS.
