U2720Q, calibration

Hello,

I just recieved this U2720Q. Can anyone tell me whether the color calibration is deleted when one resets the monitor to it's factory setting?

Thanks.

The U2720Q does not have the Menu- Color- Preset Modes Cal1 and Cal2 to "save" the calibrations. This is shown on page 39 in the online U2720Q User's Guide. So any calibrations done would be saved within the 3rd party calibration software. Using the U2720Q Menu- Others- Factory Reset could change the appearance of the 3rd party software saved calibration. Meaning you might have to calibrate again.

Thank you Chris. I am referring to the Calibration Factory Report that came with my monitor. It states that "Calibrations were done according to Dell" etc.

Has those cals been reset as well?

thanks.

For monitors that do not have the Color- Preset Modes Cal1 and Cal2, the user accessible Menu OSD- Others- Factory Reset does NOT affect calibrations reported in the Calibration Factory Report.

The problem is users enter the Service Center FSM (Factory Service Menu) and make changes there that will affect all calibrations.
